get rid of /#more-#####

Hello…
At the botton of each post on my home page there is a “CONTINUE READING ‘article title‘ with a little arrow that a reader clicks on to get the post in it’s entirety.

When a reader clicks it redirects to the post’s full url with /#more-22948″ but the ##### numbers vary, that was just an example.

I just want to get rid of the “/#more-22948” and have the CONTINUE READING to redirect to the post’s url…the same one it goes to if you click the title instead.

How can I fix this, please??? And thank you in advance for the help.
Also, I am not that wp.org literate with the coding, as it confuses me a lot, so the simpler the better.
