    Hi everbody,

I am really enjoying this plugin! It works really great, just one question: Is it possible to tell the plugin to keep checking a folder for new content? I'm currently developing a site for a client and right now you've been the best/ most user friendly plugin I've found. But the client requires to be able to update the background images through FTP when a new project has finished. But as far as I can see this plugin always requires image sets, which means they have to update this in the plugin too. Am I not finding a feature here or is it just because of how the plugin has been build?

BTW: The plugin always flashes white very quickly when changing page, is there anything I can do about this?

I am currently running Version 1.2.

Thank you very much for your time,

    Arnaud Van Herck

    Hi,

I have written a bespoke plugin for someone a while ago, that allowed his client to add images via e-mail, and override a category/tag or post with them on a specified date. I'd be happy to send the code over to you, so you can modify it for your own purposes.

In the meantime, I will add this as a "to-do" for a future version, because I hear it quite often that this is being used for client sites (and so ease of use is imperative).

As for the flashes - is this between each image?

    Hi

Yes, that would be great. That might be very interesting as a temporary or alternative solution. Thank you very much!

And the flashes occur on every page refresh, I got them away by deselecting "initial ease-in". This feature made the background flash every time I navigated through the site. So it was on every page request and not only on initial website load.
Not a big issue but more of a annoying detail. I just opted for not having this option on, too bad though.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

Thanks for letting me know about the flashing. I'll have a look into this, and see if its related to another (persistent!) bug.

If you send me an e-mail to hello [at] myatus.com, I'd be happy to forward you the bespoke plugin along with a brief description of how it works from the client-side.
