Get other language posts in a category using polylang

    Hi, Is it possible to get posts wich are set in language 1, to show in a category set in language 2?
    What I have is a bilingual site, two custom menus for each language, and I want to show both languages posts in homepage, and for some categories too.
    I´m using polylang 0.9.5, a commercial theme and wordpress 3.3.2 installed.

    If you have some PHP knowlegde, I believe that it would be possible to make a child theme and to obtain what you want with the Polylang API. Otherwise there is no ready solution to do this.

    Hi Chouby, thanks for your reply, I just hace some knowlegde with PHP, but I´ll try to create this switchable parent – child theme, to create the navigation in both languages and keep in some categories to show both languages.

    Finally I went to a custom plugin rather than a child theme. You will probably have to adapt it to meet your exact needs.

    Nice plugin :), it works great for what I need to. Now I just need to see how AWPCP works with polylang.
