I have installed get-a-post, however I do not know how to configure it to only show the post on the main blog page. Right now the post I am referring to, shows up on the individual post page. If you go to http://www.neospyce.com/blog and click on on of the post’s links, you will then see what I mean. The only way I could even figure out how to make the get-a-post to work at all was to create a page for it and call it up by page id, cuz it wouldn’t work on post id. Please help and thanks in advance. Smiles.

Haven’t used ths plugin but will ask–you want only want the one post you designate to show on the main blog page–is that correct?

If so, do you have a custom field ‘sticky’ with a value of ‘1’ on the post you want displayed?

Seemingly, your theme doesn’t have a single.php template file to display single posts. Create one – without the call for the plugin.

Try this: save your theme’s index.php as single.php and remove whatever you have in there for the plugin. It should work.

Thanks for all of your help. I ended up uninstalling Get-A-Post entirely. Then I installed Adhesive 1.00 beta 2. It worked like a charm! It’s very easy and accomplishes exactly what I want.
