   Hi,

   I FINALLY (after much trying) downloaded WordPress through the "famous 5 min download" (which apparently is famous for the wrong reason!)

   Then I got this huge folder with a million files on it and I don't know WTH to do with the files, all they are is files in Gibbrish (computer coded) and nowhere is there a button that says "click here to install" or "Click here to start actually USING WordPress as opposed to just staring at all these files" or "Click here just for fun" or "Click here if you'd like a CoffeeCup with Two Sugar".

   Have you read http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress ?

   You do have to upload the files to a web server.

   Read the codex. You need to upload the files to your web server and run the installation file in a web browser. There's no button to click to install, since it needs to be uploaded to YOUR server. Do you have web hosting?
