ok i must be doing something really wrong – now i’m trying to update general settings – and i get
The WordPress address you entered did not appear to be a valid URL. Please enter a valid URL.
The Site address you entered did not appear to be a valid URL. Please enter a valid URL.
The email address entered did not appear to be a valid email address. Please enter a valid email address.
then when i tried to update the profile – it told me –
unauthorized action
i really hate this – i want support!
Some more info would be helpful:

And BTW, these forum are staffed by volunteers so 30 minutes does not seem an unreasonable amount of time for a reply.
ok sorry – here’s some more information – one of the pages that I’ve worked on
http://pattenburgumc.org/about-us/
on the “page” section of the dashboard – my text and image is all there – it’s just when I hit “preview page” that I get the error message
I don’t see a “publish” button – but I hit “update”
not sure what I’m doing wrong
Did you change the URL settings for your site? If so, that’s likely why that Not Found is happening.
You can change those settings back to what they were – see:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
You’ll need to have access to the files on the server or your database (make a backup before changing anything there) – ask your hosting company if you don’t know how to do that.
ok its not letting me get that part of the setting/general section.
http://pattenburgumc.org/wp-admin/options-general.php
when i click on general – it flashes for a second – then goes to a shorter menu
and honestly – i wouldn’t know if i had changed that setting or how i did that in the first place
Well I thought I would delete those two pages that weren’t working – thinking that I some how changed the the URL without meaning to. And, I created two new pages – and neither of them still work
here’s the website
http://pattenburgumc.org/
here’s the addresses of the two pages that don’t work

http://pattenburgumc.org/worship-2/
I’m afraid i’m not very computer ilterate and i couldn’t make heads or tail of that link you sent – sorry
