    hello

do you know whats up with the geomashup when it's used together with Xcache?
When the xcache is ON the geomashup plugin renders on all pages error
    "geo-mashup-db.php on line 55"

    wp: 3.0.4
    gm: Version 1.4beta3

I think I've used the XCache support in W3 Total Cache successfully before, but I'm not sure about others. That line number makes me think your plugin might not implement one of the WP cache functions.

Yep I think the problem lays within the code of GeoMashup.
I just thought somebody from GeoMashup plugin developers might hit this page and look at this issue. :)

I thought it would be in the caching plugin, not Geo Mashup. Geo Mashup just calls the wordpress caching functions - what makes you think the problem is there? Are you using W3TC?

Hmm maybe your right. I use "WP super cache" much lighter and works well, better then W3TC for me.
W3TC has problems with "template test drive" and doesn't cache some custom pages(don't know why).

I think it's problem of GM because of the error:
    geo-mashup-db.php on line 55"

I do not have the whole call and do not want to see it again on life site :)

IF anybody from the GM core needs the whole line of the error I'll kill my site for a while ;)

The full error might be helpful. I'm also curious if you'd get the error with super cache disabled.

    yep,

I have updated WP to 3.1.3
completely turned off "wp super cache" and deactivated it.
    moved the object-cache.php to wp-content (http://neosmart.net/dl.php?id=12)

    and it gave me this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_add_global_groups() in /var/www/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/geo-mashup/geo-mashup-db.php on line 55

I think I see how WordPress avoids this error, and should be able to do the same in Geo Mashup. Follow progress here:

    yep,
    I think you are right.
W3TC use the opt code well, well if at all.... but it doesn't trigger errors.
I'm on Wp Super cache with Geo Mash up and everything is fine.

    thanks for you time.
