    What is in your Google/Feedburner ID setting for the widget?

    I have tried the following and get the same error message “The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled”:

    OK, it turns out I just needed to put travellingfortwo under Google/Feedburner ID in the widget area. Problem solved! Thank you!

    My question now is – I am new to WP and Feedburner – now that I have the email subscription working – what do I do? How do I send out notifications to people who subscribe. Is it automatic after each post on the blog site travellingfortwo.com – is there somewhere that explains this next step as I don’t know what I have to do.

    It’s all set in Feedburner’s settings. Typically, Feedburner will sent an e-mail once a day when there have been new posts (I think you can set the time, but haven’t used it in a very long time).

    No action on your part besides writing. 🙂
