   I am hosting a WordPress blog on shared space: blog.[some-domain].com.

   I have purchased my own domain name, which points to this URL.
   However, all internally generated links, pretty or otherwise, are in
   blog.[some-domain].com/blog/post1
   form (obviously), whereas I would like them to point to
   mydomain.com/blog/post1

   I assume this is a very common problem with (hopefully) a simple solution but I am having no luck searching so far.
