Generate dynamic / on the fly page from remote database

I currently have a wp page that grabs a list of items from a remote database using wpdb. This works fine.

What I want to do now is have it so I can click through to a page on the site from one of these items. I don’t want to have to create pages/posts for each item and I’d like the info to come from the remote database.

Is this possible and if so any suggestions how.
