I have some general questions re your plugin and would appreciate your input/feedback:
- I am considering adapting it as a language dictionary for Tok Pisin (Pidjin english).
- I currently use the "addquicktags" and "tippy" plugins to achieve this but find it cumbersome adding the tool tip. In addition this approach does not handle old posts - your does!
- Will your plugin handle words that a space in the middle eg: "Tok Pisin"?
- What happens if your plugin finds a word that already has a link - say to a previous post or perhaps to a Wikipedia article? Will acronyms back off if it finds something already linked?
- How are your acronyms and descriptions stored? What I'm thinking here is whether there's a quick way to populate with alternative words and descriptions? Perhaps an import/export feature?
- What is your recommended way for changing the styling of displayed acronyms?
