General Question about displaying pages

    I wrote a Page and nothing else so far. I would like that when the blog opens that it opens to this page. This page should always be the default/home page of the blog. I disabled comments to this page. But I would like that people are able to post comments elsewhere on this blog.

    is this possible?

    Visit Options -> Reading.

    At the top, you see the “Front Page” section? Click on the radio button for “static” page and select your page.
