   Hello, Hopefully someone can help me with this as it has been troublesome for a while.

   Hopefully this is something really simple and I am just being foolish.

   Everytime I use a plugin which has its own embed code when I use it on my blog it just seems to show this embed code as text rather than embedding the item, I have experienced this on various plugins from contact forms to vimeo plugins.

   I am currently using the shashin picasa plugin which offers the ability to embed picasa web albums - the code is generated by the plugin itself -

   [salbumthumbs=title,max,n,n,center,]

   And you can see this on the page here - (as text, not embedding my albums) http://www.pauljgaston.com/photos

   I have the latest version of wordpress and this plugin.

   Any help would be much appreciated.

   have you switched themes to rule out a theme related problem?
   have you deactivated all plugins and tested to rule out plugin conflict?

   Hi Samuel, Thanks for the reply! Yes I have tried both of those, I have had this problem with a number of plugins also...

   remove wpautop filter or try on another themes.

   Hmmm, I dont really understand this, but I know I dont want to lose the formatting on my posts....

   Ok I managed to removed the wpautop filter, it didnt help, it removed a lot of the formatting... but the embed tag was still visible as text.

   If you have any other ideas I would love to hear them.

   try on another themes?
   or another server with wordpress installed?

    Your albums has show up.

    You should read more on usage guide

    That is strange... I just posted some other code from a blog... instead of the code automatically generated...

    Thanks for your help though. I will look into it.
