   Which image library does wordpress use? For example.. If i make a gallery is it using the GD library then? Is it possible for wordpress to use anything else for this, like "ImageMagick" or "GraphicsMagic"?

   Not as far as I'm aware - although I wouldn't rule out the possibility of 1 or more gallery plugins using different image libraries.
