[resolved] GazpoMag h2 links are tricky... (6 posts)

    Hey there,

    I'm using the GazpoMag theme - I've got pretty much everything adjusted to my liking through CSS, but I'm completely stumped on the h2 colors.

    What I'm shooting for is a black title on the front page post previews (right under the featured image/featured categories). I figured it should be as easy as something like;

    #container h2 a:link{color:#3b9e3b;}
    #container h2 a:hover{color:#000;}

    But it wasnt... some of the headers changed, but most of them are still green... I just don't get it.

    I don't want to make every single link on the site black, but that's the only way I've been able to even get close. Any suggestions?

    URL:

    Thanks,

    Nick

    what about the styling of any :visited pseudo classes?

    use Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to see what styles sre influencing which elements.

    :visited are all set to #000 - main page still randomly setting h2's to green...

    I already have firebug installed, but I don't get how that helps any more than looking directly at the CSS?

    these styles are formatting the title:

    #content .post a:hover {
    color : #3b9e3b;
    }
    #content .post a:link {
    color : #3b9e3b;
    }

    add a :visited style; the styles should be in the order (if you need different colors):

    #content .post a:link {
    color : #000;
    }
    #content .post a:visited {
    color : #000;
    }
    #content .post a:hover {
    color : #000;
    }
