Gallery without thumbnails

Hallo,

I would like to display immediately the gallery with full image and prev/next buttons when I upload a gallery, without having first the page with thumbnails.

As I want a very simple gallery with prev/next I guess it’s worth to modify the code rather then inserting slider plugins, they’re far too baroque for what I need. Anybody ever solved such an issue?
