There is no such thing as “gallery types” in WordPress. Most likely, this is done via a plugin. You’ll need to post on that particular plugin’s forum for them to help you out with that.

Thanks for your response Justin.
By “Gallery Types” I mean those options that you can access via Edit Gallery -> Gallery Settings -> Type. This is usually not done through a plugin and is a basic feature of other themes on wordpress (Expound, Hemingway and McKinley for example. However on Stargazer I can only access this option through the the ‘Tiled Galleries Carousel Without Jetpack’ Plugin and even then the gallery layout does not change.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like Stargazer, I am just confused by the fact that I cannot change the display settings of images in a gallery.
There simply is no “Edit Gallery -> Gallery Settings -> Type” in WordPress. This feature does not exist without a plugin creating it. It’s also possible for a theme to build in such a feature. Nevertheless, it’s not a core WordPress feature. If/When that feature is ever added to core WordPress, I’d be more than happy to add support for it.

I understand.
Since it is supported by many other themes, perhaps it would be worthwhile to look into adding support for tiled galleries regardless of whether or not it is in the core feature package. Or at least for the ‘Tiled Galleries Carousel Without Jetpack’ Plugin which also isn’t supported in this theme.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my query.
