Gallery Thumbnails show up as full size images – with adjusted size

    inside the gallery view – the images show up as full sized with adjusted width and height – the are big in size and the

    gallery page is very heavy.

    Steps I have already tried
    1. regenerate-thumbnails -registration successful and still no thumbnails in the upload/2013/04 folder
    2.checking file permission – upload and below is all 755
    3. using an english file name – instead of a hebrew one.

    Any thought of how i can fix this??

    after trying to disable everything and re-enabling I figured out it was a sever problem.
    i’ve used this guide to enable GD and other important server options.
