Gallery shortcodes not working consistently

    I am stumped. I’ve tried to add a series of galleries to a series of pages in zalive using the shortcodes from each gallery.

    The problem is that some of the galleries show up and others display 404 errors. The problem seems to do with the parent page status.
    If I add the pages with the gallery shortcodes without parent pages defined, the gallery images show up fine, but the navigation display in the sidebar looks weird.

    If I define parents for ALL the pages, then only some of them show up. This is truly frustrating.

    Any suggestions of where to look?
