    Hello,
I have a big problem (i guess), and I’m not any good with coding. Today I updated my WP and all plugins. I wanted to check if something changed for better after that but what I saw, horrified me. My whole gallery, everything changed posision on my page from horizontal to vertical. It supposed to be pic next to another but now everithing messed up and it’s one under another. What’s happening, how can I fix it?

My page: hany.pl please help me, or my boss will’gonna kill me.

  • Hi there,

This is an issue with the CSS. Please copy the nggallery.css file (from the plugin folder) to the ngg_styles folder. They are located here:

    plugin folder: wp-content/plugins/nextcellent-gallery-nextgen-legacy/css/
    ngg_styles folder: wp-content/ngg_styles/

Well, it changed something but didn’t help with my problem.

Hmm, could you try changing the contents of the file to this?

The problem is that the css file, which makes sure the images are positioned right, is empty.

I’ve changed my file with yours, but it didn’t helped. Just restored to default style.

Ok, let’s try something else, since I recently had a request about same issue:

    Check configuration in your plugin.
Galleries->Settings->Gallery and check ‘Image per page’ and ‘Columns’ . I guess there is an issue where some values are lost in the upgrades.

    Galleries/settings/gallery Colums per page… It doesn’t work… I’ve changed my file too first… nothing

Yup, same here, nothing changed. No matter how I many times I change something there. I was suppost to say that earlier but mate above was faster.

Just confirming, are you sure the css file is not empty? You can also try deleting the file in /ngg_styles to see if that helps.

The problem is, on my end, that the css file is empty: see for yourself.

OK. It was empty. Thanks. Is working now. 🙂
