   I've been having this problem for a few weeks. When I upload more than 30 images in a post it is as if the gallery breaks. Any image above 29 cannot be renamed or inserted into the post. If I try to reorder the images it only orders 29 of the images and the rest do not take a number.

   Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

   I've updated flash and still no luck.

   The weird thing is that I am not getting any error message at all...it just reloads the images...

   Can anyone help?

   Also, another weird thing, is that I can add any image I want from the Media Library... It is only the Gallery that cannot insert images above the 29th...

   I tried re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes directories to make sure an auto upgrade hadn't messed things up...still I am not able to insert an image above the 29th image from a Gallery

   I just did a fresh reinstall on a test site and had the same exact problem...next I am going to downgrade to 2.8 and if that doesn't work, I'll go to 2.7 and see if I get the same problem

   Anyone have any ideas?

   I downgraded to 2.7 and the problem still persisted...I upload 55 images and if I try to insert any image past image 30, the window just reloads all the images as if nothing happened...this is starting to make me a little crazy...what is the deal???

   If I downgrade to 2.6 I can't use the flash uploader...so I can't test to see if the problem persists.

   Please, if anyone has any ideas let me know.

    Turns out it is something with my server - I tried a fresh install on another server and the problem did not exist...very frustrating! If I ever find out what is wrong I will post a solution.
    If anyone knows anything that might help, please let me know - thanks.

    It turned out to be an issue with suhosin. My host disabled suhosin for my site and everything works now.
