gallery not showing up

    I have installed the nextGen public uploader, and teh nextGen gallery. I’ve made a gallery, and added the shortcode to the page. I now see the upload form and it successfully uploads the photos. I go into the admin of the site, unclick exclude and then save…. but the photos do not appear on the site. THere is no sign of the gallery on the page. What am I doing wrong? I must be missing a setting somewhere… but where?
