• I’ve been working on a Gallery Manager plugin for WordPress for some time now, and I’d really appreciate it if anyone could help me debug the Beta.

I will release a Beta as soon as I have a couple of reactions from experienced developers who are interested in adding photoblogging to WordPress.

Gallery Manager plugin will be, I hope, a major addition to the WordPress plugin arsenal so please help me turn Beta to Stable.

I have some screenshots up. The features are too many to list here. For better or for worse, the plugin is already 3750 lines of code, so there’s a lot to be done!

Interested? Leave a message here, or visit my site at http://blogs.hiveworks.com/msa/2005/06/03/85/ and leave a comment on the page or contact me through the contact page. Anyway will do.

    Please help!

  • Looks awsome. If you want me to beta test feel free to comment on my blog or to email me @ crondude (at) gmail (dot) com

I just emailed you about being a beta tester. I am very interested in this plugin. It seems to be a very good plugin. WordPress is in desperate need for a great gallery plugin that is highly integrated and this one seems to be the one. I have been waiting so long for a plugin like this and I am happy to give my time to such a great project that could make WordPress even better.

Ditto what was said above. I just left a comment on the new page. I’m no developer, but I would still love to help.

I tried to install but it failed once I activated it. All I got were blanks screens when I went ot anything on my site.

Perhaps it doesn’t interact well with another plugin?

Nevermind…I deleted the coppermine & PHP Gallery plug-ins and it seem to be working now. I also deactivated the gallery2 plug-in.

Just an update. While this looks promising, there are a number of issues with this plug-in. I’ve emailed the developer with these concerns. At this point I have removed it as it was causing too much trouble. Hopefully, development will continue and this could be what a lot of people are looking for.
