Gallery Instead Of a Blog

    Hi,

    I have a template installed on my wordpress site. I want to use this site as a gallery for photography rather than a blog.

    I don’t want people to be able to comment on my posts. I just want it to be a gallery and for them to be able to e-mail me.

    Is this possible?

    sure. Turn off all commenting in your settings. Settings->discussion

    then, use a contact form plugin so people can email you. I use cforms, but contact form 7 works great too

    yes.
    In your discussion settings you can set all posts to have no comments.

    Remove the check box from the field ‘Allow people to post comments on new articles’

    Then in your media library, you can insert the image using full size and then no link.
