[resolved] Gallery Folder has password problem (5 posts)

When I set a password on a Gallery folder, the user is not asked to enter a password, and it goes ahead and displays the list of images. It has the word "Protected:" in front of the page title.
At the bottom of the page, it asks to enter the password! But all the images are already displayed.

    Any ideas?

I just started with the Eazyest Gallery, and this password thing worked in my earlier tests. Later I installed an update to my theme (Mantra 2.0), and I discovered the problem. Coincidence?

Does it work in a default theme?

I no longer believe it's theme related.
When I use a different browser, it works fine, once, and then the protected folder is available without a password.

It's WP that keeps it open for you, so you don't need to ever have to use the password again.

It is actually a bug in Eazyest Gallery.
It is fixed in the development version.
    Thanks for mentioning this.
