Galleries not displaying – Thumbnails only

    Hello,

    I have got a problem with the NextGen Gallery plugin since I have upgraded my WordPress account to 3.6.1 and tried to update the plugin to the 2.0.40 version: the galleries are not displaying correctly > when you click on the thumbnail to enlarge the picture, it doesn’t work and then have to refresh my browser to go back to the post.

    I have been through the plugin options, deactivating and reactivating other plugins, reading a lot of the posts and tried the given solutions, called my hosting provider to increase the memory size but none of these seem to be working… I need your help!!

    @chaz8686 – I just checked the Photo Gallery on that page and everything seems to be working fine, are you still seeing the issue?

    Hi Cais,

    The problem is still there and can be random (I mean sometimes it appears to be working but the next second it doesn’t anymore…). You can also try and have a look on these pages (under the “Photo Gallery” tab at the bottom of the page:

    Hello,

    Good news! Cais has fixed my problem:

    >> It appears this it was most likely a caching issue (“ensure the cache is completely cleared after every single change, no matter how minor or you may not actually see anything on the site … or the caching could actually break things (or make them look broken)”) and possibly a plugin conflict with “Easy Fancybox”.

    >> What he did: updating the NextGEN Gallery to 2.0.40 (and also installing and used the NextGEN Reset Tool found under Tools > NextGEN Gallery Reset).

    >> Tip when using version 2.0.40: use the ATP (attach to post) rather than a shortcode to insert a gallery.
