Galleria automatically resizes images

Galleria Galleria seem to automatically resize images to fit the width that was set in options. The displayed size of the image is 480px (see http://s161104712.onlinehome.us/aff/drstern/), but when you check the source image for the gallery, it is actually 300px width. It uses the image resized to 300px that I never uploaded (http://s161104712.onlinehome.us/aff/drstern/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/couple3-300×173.jpg).
Because I want to add the text to the image and want the text to be crisp and readable, I want to prevent Galleria Galleria from resizing the image. How can I do that?
