Fundify theme: how to only have 1 `Home`and 1 'Blog' page (5 posts)

    Hi!

This is a question about the crowdfunding blog theme, Fundify: I am trying to add a 'Blog' page to display WP posts, and a static 'Home' page.

I have followed Fundify's instructions, but it does something kinda bizarre: there is already a page that exists for 'Blog' entries, called 'The Blog', which is where posts are displayed, but it's not on the menu. The page I created called 'Blog' remains empty, but IS included on the menu. With the 'Home' page, when I create a 'Home' page myself, there are now 2 'Home' pages in the menu ... and the only one that allows stuff to be done to it is the one supplied by the Fundify theme.

I'm thinking that I shouldn't actually make a new page if these exist already, and seem to be the only ones that work. The problems are, however, that 1) the 'The Blog' page is not in the menu, and 2) although Fundify's premade 'Home' IS on the menu, it isn't in the list of pages in Dashboard for me to alter it in any way.

Anyone know how to solve this?

P.S. I have other issues, such as the menu spilling over the site's title, but I'll tackle that next ...

    1. Go to Settings >> Reading
    2. Check "A Static Page"
    3. Make the Front Page "Home"
    4. Make the Posts Page "Blog"
    5. Delete the page called "The Blog"
