   Hi all,

   I'm trying to locate the function that takes care of the deletion of (media) attachments. Could someone point me in the right direction, because I can't find it.

   I'm writing a cleanup script and like to get rid of a lot of images, but this part is missing. A suggestion which library/script to include and which functional to call is really appreciated!

   Try wp_delete_attachment() in wp-admin/post.php.
