Function for academic Citations?

    Hi,

    This is a great plugin, but I have a little problem: I am building an academic website, and I need the co-authors to be listed in my theme with the format:

    Surname, Name, and Surname, Name

    This is for online academic magazines and the like (and it has to have this precise format). When there is only a single author, it would have to be:
    Surname, Name,

    Is there any way to do this via a function or a template tag?

    Any help would be much appreciated!
