This message has started appearing on my page when I'm not logged in. It is also preventing sign ups.
After a search of these forums it seems plugins are responsible so I've deactivated and deleted the most recent plugins I added yet this error persists. Here's a screen cap

the error message seems to refer to capa.php of the 'CaPa Protect' plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/capa/
have you deactivated this plugin as well?

Yep, that did it, thanks for your help, can't believe I missed what was staring me in the face
