I have just uploaded version 1.0 of my Auto RSS Importer (for WordPress 2.0 or higher). Set it up once by specifying rss feed urls, keywords, etc. and it will keep your WordPress site continuously updated with fresh content. It is very customizable, yet easy to install, 3 files total (you just need to modify the config file). It runs only once every [specified_interval], so it won't slow your site or make a million RSS feed calls. It will soon be a sourceforge.net project.

Let me know how it works for you. This is the first release, so it may need a little tweaking. Thanks to the entire WordPress team for creating such a great application.

    Greetings!

Has anyone been able to install this tool? I read the install instructions at the link, but it requires changes to files I simply don't have within my install of WP2. If anyone has gotten this to work and can offer some advice, please post. Thanks!

    Hello all,

I agree that this is a good script. It is working excellent. The only question I have is:

How do I add more then 1 rss feed?

    My website is http://www.successdecision.com

I can confirm the script works. I'm pulling a localized feed into an international version of WP. Some date formatting issues arise, resulting in new items being assigned a 1970 date. I have altered the 'gmdate' statement to reflect the date notation, but I wonder whether this will work, without some internal translation routines.

Furthermore I discovered some character display problems, but this also could be attributed to the localized feed. Will post more, once I find out.

but, I still can't get multiple feeds working, ideas??????
I'm a noob to php, and don't know how to use a multi-dimension array to store the multiple site listing info.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
