Fullscreen Slideshow Background disappears on subpages (4 posts)

    Hey guys,

I've been going insane trying to figure this out. If I open a subpage, the fullscreen slideshow that I use as a background doesn't work. It works on every page until I get to subpages. The code for the background is nested in the header.php, so I don't know why it would stop working on subpages.

I am running a custom theme.

    Main page is:

    Example page that isn't working:

If anyone knows how I can get this working, it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

I'm not exactly sure whats going on but the css/script links in the header are totally missing from the sub page which makes me think there is something up with the folder levels. Maybe this guys on to something? : http://garvinmedia.com/2011/04/wordpress-supersized-the-right-way/

    Great site by the way!

    1. Please check the theme options if you have any to enable the background slideshow on all pages. It is toggled off as shown by css for now.

    2. If you are using a custom plugin, make sure its options are turned on to show the background on pages. you can also use wp-background-slider (demo.marvellabs.com) if everything else fails to show the backgrounds seperately

    3. The easiest option is place a picture named bg2.jpg in this location

Thanks guys. I still haven't figured out how to enable the slideshow, but I got a stable background that is ok for now. I found a menu that says that the bg2 fipe is required for archive pages, so the fix may not be easy. The enqueing script is really interesting. I dont think it will help here, but I'm going to look into it more. There are plugins that require that script to gzip and minify CSS and J's scripts, and I was thinking of doing that anyway.
