    Hello,

    is it posiible to have comment box on full width pages? Comments are allowed on the pages but it only works with default, not with full width page.

    Thank you for advice, my pages are http://www.danysska.cz

    oops... my fault, sorry about that. I forgot to un-comment the comment form in the page templates. If you open the page templates (files) and look for this:

    <?php //comments_template( '', true ); ?>

    Remove that double forward slash so that it looks like this:

    <?php comments_template( '', true ); ?>

    I will have to make this as an update for Encounters Lite.

    I have done this and the text that tells you which box is what is missing. Do you have a fix for that? My webpage is http://www.carriedthroughtime.com/comments/

    Thank you in advance.

    @bbybis...I do not know what you mean by "tells you which box is what is missing"?

    If you did what I posted previously, you want to make sure it's done exactly as-is. This will be for any of the page templates this theme has.

    I need to fix the comments with an update (which I will do shortly).

    I looked at this on multiple machines. On a Mac, iPad, tablet and smart phone the form shows up fine with the
    Name*
    Email*
    Comment*
    In each field to be entered.

    But on a Windows in Internet Explorer there are just grey boxes with no
    Name*
    Email*
    Comment*
    to specify what the visitor is supposed to enter into each box. This appears to be an Internet Explorer issue. It will work fine in Firefox. Do you know of any code that I can put in to make it show in IE?

    Thanks

    That is definitely odd. What version is your IE?

    Great theme by the way and excellent support. Out of all of the support pages I have used for different plugins or issues, you are definitely the quickest to reply.

    Right now it is IE9. I may install IE10 or 11 but that will not help any of my customers if they are running 9 so I would like to make sure it works in all versions of IE since that is the main PC internet browser.

    This is not must have right now. I am only using the comments on one page for a comment page. If I have to I can tell them the layout in the body of the page.

    Thanks for the great comment....as for the issue, it turns out ie9 does not support input field placeholders (without using a script), which I was surprised. IE10 and higher seems to work, although I just uploaded a new update for Encounters Lite, I will definitely need to re-code the comments form so that it works for anyone on ie9. It's late right now for me, so I will work on this tomorrow. I will need to do this for my commercial one too...but priority is for Encounters Lite at the moment.

    Actually, I might have a fix you can try. Contact me from my site and I can send you a beta test version of this theme, but with a script that makes form placeholders work in ie9. I just tried this and it appears to work.
