hi, Im trying to create a static front page using the twenty eleven theme. Just a huge image on the front and menu above that. Alls sorted except I cant quite seem to make the imbeded image fill in the whole content area without the daft margins or padding around it or whatever it is. Very frustrated about now, would make my day if any of you good knowledgeable people could let me know in a detailed manner how to sort this out. Cheers
    site is at http://2012.hudsonbay.com/ cheers.

    Hello kaine,

As i have seen you had done a great job. But if you want your image to be shown in main area , there are many ways but simple way is to give background image to a div in which you want to show that image. remeber to use image which is xect width as ur need .
    :) have nice day

cheers for the quick response but unfortunately that is a lil over my depth (still learning).

was under the impression it was a simple matter of manipulating the CSS to remove the margins around attached images, or maybe by increasing the content width, however i have no idea where or how to do any of the above and trust me I've tried for ages, cheers in advance. I ideally just want the picture to fill up the full width of the site i.e to take up all the space that is currently white as well.
