    I can show you were the cropping happens, but there will be a few other places you’ll need to edit, including rewriting how the thumbnails are included through the javascript to make that work.

    I have actually made a lot of major changes in the code for the specific purpose of getting to a place where you can either crop thumbnails or not crop thumbnails, I’ll make sure to make that a core focus on the next release of the slideshow.

    Sorry I never got back. I was slammed. I installed the new version, but can’t seem to find the place to mark it so that the thumbnails are not cut off.

    I’ve made one step towards doing thumbnails non-cropped, and I made a way to do the cropping in CSS as an experiment with the main images, you can now see a “Stretch & Crop” option in the configuration for Images & Overlay.

    But doing non-square thumbnails still isn’t possible. And no matter what the thumbnails will need to have a uniform width.
