   Hi guys -

   A frustrating issue. I don't like my feeds just showing the excerpt of the post, and one of the main issues i upgraded to 2.6 was that it has the option of ticking 'show full text' in feed without the need for extra plugins etc.

   However, when ticking 'full text' and hitting save changes, the option reverts to 'summary' each time.

   Anyone else have this issue - and is there a fix?

   ok - that particular issue is fixed - it was a plugin that was overwriting the option.

   full text mode is now ticked, but STILL it doesnt show in the reader:

   http://feeds.feedburner.com/thelineofbestfit

   could it be something to do with the 'optional excerpt' in the write post field? because i have to use that option in order for my theme to work properly

   I'm having the exact opposite problem!!! I want excerpts and it keeps showing full text!!! ahhhhhhh Didn't have any problems before updating to 2.6.2

   Same problem. WTF... it worked before I upgraded to 2.5, now its dead. How frustrating.
