  • Hi there,
    1.Im prety new to site builing and need some help
    Ive been using coreftp for to upload an html file generated by linkassistance. where should I upload it to, in order to view it on my dashboard. is it possible at all? my aim is to edit it a bit, and show it as a page and I cant do it at the mo.
    2, where do wp generated pages normally save at. I mean, can I view my pages on an ftp prog?
    3. any idea if I can do the same with an smf page ? I mean – show it as a website page, same template, navbar and all that?

  • 1. you can enter html in the html tab from your editor, do not switch back to visual after entering html tho.

    you normally don’t just upload html pages tho, and have them work through wp. You can upload them to your server and link through wp if you want, or enter html as stated above.

    2. pages created through WP are not physical things. They are stored in the database. The layout is controlled by your theme

    3. If you want custom pages within your WP using the WP layout, you have to create a page template…then make the page and assign it the template you created.
