I have recently bought my domain name using wordpress, and i have also purchased a theme of wpzoom.com. I'm trying to use filezilla to instal my theme to my blog but i need a username and a password. here is where im stuck and i need some help.

As this is a commercial theme whose template files are not freely available, you need to seek support from the theme's vendors.

Try asking your hosts for assistance with your FTP login credentials.
Your site is a WordPress.com website not a self hosted one. You can install that template on your website. And you'll need to post questions about your site in the WordPress.com forums as this forum is for self hosted WordPress installations. I hope this helps!

Hey, everyone. I'm hoping to find answers to a problem I'm having.
Problem: I keep getting this message "Failed to connect to FTP Server localhost:21" after input my Hostname, FTP Username and FTP Password.
Here's what I put in:
Hostname localhost
FTP Username root
FTP Password (the same password I use to log into our Linux server)
Some background: I created a wordpress website on my macbook for my boss. He likes it. He hosts his website on his own Linux server with OpenSUSE 12.1. After moving the files from my laptop to the Linux server, I tried to download a plugin. It brought me to that screen where I got that message.
"Failed to connect to FTP Server localhost:21"
I searched all over Google but haven't really found anyone who has fixed this problem.
Is "localhost" good enough for Hostname?
Should I be using the same user id and password as the one I use to log into server (or something else?

No. You need to obtain your FTP login credentials from your host. And next time, please post your own topic.

Who's my host? The person I got my theme from, NEXT TIME I'LL PAY SOMEONE TO DO THIS FOR ME!! I'm ready to pull my eyeballs out over here!
