Startlogic says when you ftp, not to do it in passive mode. I have tried to set up my ftp program (FileZilla) and (ws-ftp pro) and they both seem to stall on the upload. Amd most of the time when I do, do it in passive mode, the transfer does not complete. I have been trying several days to get this solved, even had install4free try with no luck. When I was running 2.3 I had no problems. Any of you experts know where I am doing the wrong thing.

Wonder what Startlogic or your ISP has to say about the FTP problem?
Also, make sure your firewall is not messing with the FTP port (port 21 typically).
I've had massive problems with getting installs to run properly with Startlogic due to MySQL server and CGI problems, but don't recollect any FTP issues.
