Foolishly, I uploaded my pics to an application called WPPA. Now I want to use NexGen. In my FTP program, I can drop and drag them into the NexGen folder, but they do not show up when I click on [View with PicLens] ? Must I upload all this again???

Posted 3 years ago #No, make a gallery, put them in your gallery folder, then go to admin interface, Manage Gallery, then your gallery, then Scan Folder for new images (button)

That does work, however, it does not create thumbnails until you click every single photo,,,,ouch, over 300 photos. Thanks for your reply

Posted 3 years ago #hmm, it does create thumbnails for me. You can try selecting all, then use Create new thumbnails from the dropdown list.

wait a minute. All but 5 of them are blank, with an exclamation point in the center. IF you click it, the photo will load, however, it goes back to being blank with an exclamation point?

they are 1200x900 do u think that is too big?

i looked in the FTP client and the thumbs folder only has 7 photos in it?

options, images, resize. Now they are 800X600 but it still taking forever to load?
