   I'm new at this so I'm hoping this is a stupid, simple question. My hosting is through godaddy and I'm trying to upload the thesis theme, I purchased on to my wordpress.org account to customize, through my filezila ftp thingy but the godaddy ip address is different from the wordpress.org ip address and, in case you need to know, the thesis theme is uploaded on godaddy -- what do I do and how do I do it?

   I have changed the nameservers on godaddy to reflect the wordpress needs.

   Am I making any sense? thank you.

   You don't need the wordpress.org ip address. Contact your hosting provider to get your FTP connection details.

   thank you so much. i will give that a try today - one more thing, specifically what should I ask my hosting provider?
