FTP Connection Information (6 posts)

    Hi Guys,
    I want to upgrade my plugin and click upgrade automatically, then my wordpress shown "FTP Connection Information", why is sudden to input FTP Connection Information?? Before that (maybe 1 weeks ago) this is not shown and upgrade automatically is work.
    Whois can help me? Please give me information and solutions about that.

    I have the same problem. I have several installations of wordpress on several different hosts. Some of them do not require the ftp connection information to upgrade plugins, while others do. And when I enter the server information, WP never does anything. It's just sits there.

    I have the same problem

    I made a new FTP account - doesnt work
    Used the master FTP account - doesnt work

    Tried localhost - doesnt work.

    Out put is

    Connection Method ftpext
    ABSPATH /mounted-storage/home58a/subxxx/scxxxx-EXBT/URLREMOVED.co.uk/Leicestershire/

    I got this fixed by following the directions on this page:

    WordPress wasn't detecting correctly the user of the process running.
