   I am a new user.

   Connection Information
   To perform the requested action, connection information is required.

   Hostname -
   Username -
   Password -
   Connection Type - FTP or FTPS (SSL)

   I keep viewing this error when trying to change my theme. The hostname is correct, username is absolutely correct but it keeps telling me the username or password is incorrect. I'm using the same password as what I use to log in, is that incorrect?

   I'm not a web developer so I've tried to view forums of how to fix this but just wound up a bit confused with the extreme jargon.

   You need to enter your FTP connection credentials. If you are not sure what these are, try asking your hosts.
