    Hi all,

I'm having a bit of troubles with my site. And I hope one of you can help me with it.
The thing is, I made my sidebar dynamic with conditional tags to show a submenu if one a particular category page. However I want my frontpage to show the calendar instead. But the problem is is_home() or is_front_page() doesnt work for me.
The frontpage is built up with WP_query fetching the latest posts in several categories. I know this can give trouble aswell, because then the frontpage reacts like it's the categorypage of the last item showed.
I found a way to fix that, using the wp_reset_query() function.
However now it doesnt show neccessarily the template along with the latst post on the frontpage. it shows the template that belongs to the last post published.
Im really stuck with this one. So if anyone can help me...please help me.
The site in question is http://www.deliriumtelevision.com
