Seems like the link is broken, didn’t noticed. Here is the release notice post: http://tareq.wedevs.com/2013/01/frontend-for-wp-project-manager-released/

You don’t need to uninstall the project manager plugin. Installing the frontend plugin gives the project manager plugin to have frontend capability.

    Thanks for your reply,

so i have to use the front end using short codes? or by deafult it will work like a theme with entire functionality? please advice

also, how the avatar works? please advice

    Thanks

You’ll use it using shortcode. Insert shortcode in a page, projects will show up and you can use everything you could do in admin panel. You can either show all projects via the shortcode or a specific project.

Avatar works using the WordPress native get_avatar() function.

    Hello Tareq,

    Thanks for your reply

I have installed the backend plugin and found few major mistakes, will try to explain the best so you can fix them

    1. Project Manager Dashboard
    2. Click on any project
    3. Click on Todo in activity list
    4. it changes the Project selected in the header
    5. from there click on the Activity from the header
    6. It takes you to wrong page and showing wrong information instead of taking to activity page

Please let me know if you are not clear with my sentences

Seems like a bug, will fix it. Thanks for the bug report.

P.S: Github is the best place to report a bug.

How do we create project from front end? i dont see any option to create project from front end, do we have any short code for it? please advice asap

    Thanks

Project creation feature was not added in the frontend version. You’ve to create the projects from backend.

ohhh thought we have some short codes, Thats really semi finished product and you are charging for it 🙁

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed. I didn’t put that feature intentionally. Thought project display was the main concern. So it might come on a future release. Don’t think it’s a one time gig.

I am charging because It requires A LOTs OF DEVELOPMENT TIME to build this kinda of plugins.

Yeah, i understand and a happy to hear that you will put it in your future development, but with that feature there is no meaning for the front end plugin, its my personal opinion

Yes, PLEASE make Project Creation available in Front-End version – I will buy in a heartbeat when that feature becomes available.

+1 for project creation from front-end

Frontend just got an update with project creation feature.
