Please forgive my ignorance, this is my first venture, so any replies please keep simple!
I have installed WP 3.1 via my Host Server, and initially no problems, until I decided to change my theme, now when I go to Settings > Reading, the 'Front Page setup' is missing. Any ideas how this can be retrieved? Thanks
Have you tried:
- checking through Troubleshooting WordPress 3.1 - Master List
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thanks for the reply, I tried deactivating the Plug-ins, it didn't make any difference. fortunately I was not far enough ahead for it to be a great loss, so I deleted WordPress from my Host Account, and re-installed it, now problem solved!!
