The situation is insanely simple. The pastor hates computers, people try to help and so there are fragments of help everywhere. I am installing WordPress as a CMS for them and trying to get their face in a consistent way, in front of people that can help.
I am a missionary, an old soldier that is not quite gone and forgot that simple HTML should do the trick in formating their web site. I have been dusting off parts of my mind that I have not used for some 10 years or so and need to give them a site that works where donors can help them help others.
Requirements? A site that they can use to run their church. WordPress with the ability to control 10 ministries and at the same time let 10 people log into their part and do their thing (with supervision) through WordPress.
They are wonderfully computer illiterate and need a CMS they can run and maintain. There are diamonds in this rough that know Dream Weaver and iWeb but find a place they an all park, work and blog, web work as well as maintain a normal (impossible) church web site while keeping their jobs and sanity.
um... clear as mud? Occupy Sandy has some brilliant talent helping them. http://interoccupy.net/occupysandy/locations/statenisland/ - http://www.rebuildstatenisland2012.com/ have brilliant people and I am trying to help here. Great people but their communication skills are a bit short of a quart.
So, I need to give them CMS, accessability from people that just need to type and cross platform, media and ethnic language communications. Like that.
Do you need a big tax deductible donation receipt or maybe I can wash your car or dog or ... Sliver and gold, I don't have but your work is important to ... me, them, people that have lost everything.
