What I'm trying to do is this.. I don't think its really that difficult. MAybe there is a tutorial or plugin to help me?..
There is going to be a News section of my website. When my client posts in the news section, I'd like wordpress to automatically take the 4 most recent posts and display them on the front page of the website in a styled way.
Basically I have a UL with 4 LI's within it that are a fixed height and width. I'd like wordpress to take the post title, and the featured image and display these as a link to the News section.
I know part of it is display custom fields and using the loop but I dont know wordpress well enough to figure this out on my own.
