Hi, I was recently hacked and I went through the various steps to clean it up (fingers crossed).
But I am noticing my main page (most recent post) is getting spammed a lot even though I set the comments to no comments.
How do I shut off the comments? Is there a way to do this for all posts?
I don't want comments on my posts or pages.
And is this possibly a separate issue from the hacking and just some autobot response to automatically add spam to my comments (even though its set to no comments)

All my other pages have comments off, but for some reason WP forces comments on the latest (Front page). I can't figure out how to shut the comments down. I am getting tired of deleting the tons of spam.
How do I shut off the comments? Is there a way to do this for all posts?

Did that still get spam.
Bots could be accessing the scripts directly. If you don't want any comments on your site, you could try renaming the comments.php file.
I thought that might much up the blog.

If you do hit any problems on single posts or pages, try editing single.php and/or page.php and removing <?php comments_template(); ?>.
